Identification of Bed Bugs

Until taking you home, inspect furniture no matter new or second hand, especially couches and beds, for signs of bugs. Check the following:

  • Dirty or rotting stains that are caused by the pressure of bedbugs

  • Small dark spot, bed bug fecal suggestive

  • Tiny ovules (1 mm) or egg coats

  • Bugs in the living bed

  • Cover with high-quality security enclosures your mattresses and box springs to vacuum up bed bugs. A colorful cover facilitates the vision of the bed bugs.

  • Unlock your home to limit the hiding place of bugs in bed, particularly your bedrooms.

  • Functioning of vacuum.

Using Chemical for Treatment

It should be a drug licensed with the EPA if you opt for an insecticide to kill bed bugs. Make sure that the insecticide with label are listed. Follow the directions closely or employ a pesticide expert to treat you.

Using an indoor bed bug spray approved by the EPA. Should not spray on mattresses, sofas or other places where kids and animals are sleeping or playing. Your families and pets could become sick.

If necessary, inspect and treat. You will have to treat the infested areas once again if you see the bedbugs after the first treatment or if you've lost any eggs or have hatched.

Treatment with No-Chemical

Try therapy. Put on high heat for at least 20 minutes your infested clothes and bedding in your dryer. Clothing can kill bugs in bed, but many things can't be put in a washing machine. In the clothes dryer, most of these items will not be damaged by a cycle. You can check them professionally, if you're not certain whether to use a clothes dryer for certain items.
